 Armando JenikConch Charters recognizes that many of our guests come to dive the beautiful British Virgin Islands. We are proud to team up with the 'Aquaman' Armando Jenik to offer private personalized dive tours for our guests.
Armando Jenik has been diving in the Virgin Islands since the 1970's. He founded and ran the diving school Ocean Adventures for 13 years before becoming the Managing Director of the 150ft research vessel 'OKEANOS' which was involved in marine research and film production throughout the Caribbean.
Armando is also a very accomplished underwater photographer. His still underwater photographs have been widely published by journals including, Geo Magazine, Sports Illustrated, Skin Diver, Gentleman's Quarterly and many others.
A selection of his underwater film credits include "The Bold and the Beautiful" for CBS, Bare Essentials for NBC, a Silver Bullet Coors Beer Commercial, "The Magic of David Copperfield" and "Return to the Blue Lagoon" amongst others.
Armando has also done many underwater stunts for films as well as appearing on the screen with stars such as Larry Hagman and Cousteau.
We have arranged personalized rendezvous dive tours for the discerning Diver. Armando will pick you up from either Cooper Island, Peter Island, Norman Island or Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour on his 28' Dive Boat 'Buoy Boy' and take you to the special dive spots around the BVI. The minimum is 2 and the maximum is 6 and you must already be a qualified diver.
A one tank dive is $60 per person, 2 tanks $90.00.
Armando can also film your dive and a professional video of your dive is $125.00.
For those wishing to try something different - what about a night dive? Armando will pick you up from Cooper or Peter Island and show you a very different underwater world.
Just $95.00 per person. Min 2, Max 6.
If you just want to capture your holiday on film, Armando can make a sailing and snorkeling video for you to show your friends. Just $175.00.
